In December 2007, President Wilf visited Haiti and engaged in a number of activities while there.
 
On 14 and 15 December, RIP Wilf was in Haiti for another clean water summit where Past RI Vice President John Germ joined him. Many of the NGOs involved in water projects attended this excellent conference. Some of the highlights included breakfast with the Canadian ambassador, Claude Boucher, who also attended the conference opening; a meeting with the president of Haiti, René Préval; and a declaration by attendees about how to help this poor county with many of its economic and social challenges.
While in Haiti, President Wilkinson visited a hospital ICU with equipment donated by the Rotary Club of Petion-Ville and he and VP John Germ participated in a Polio immunization event also.
