APRIL 28 -- A true pioneer and leader of Rotary. Tom Lighbourne passed away April 28, 2010, after battling a long illness.
Tom was a Past District Governor (2005-06) for District 7020, a two-time President of the Rotary Club of Providenciales, and a charter member of that Club. He touched many lives in the Turks & Caicos Community, within District 7020, and throughout the Rotary world. He remained active as a leader of District 7070 up until his death.
He is survived by his wife Thelma and children Elry, Dionne and Tanya and many wonderful grandchildren. .
PDG Tom had written that he was grateful for having the opportunity to serve with so many wonderful people in so many clubs.
