Greetings Rotarians!

New Generations Month……a celebration of all Rotary’s youth programmes : Rotaract,Interact,EarlyAct, RYLA, Youth Exchange.
Rotaractors can really be looked at as “Rotarians in Training” and we are able to provide enthusiasm and motivation for our Rotarians.
I encourage you all to make an effort, especially during this month, to reach out to your various New Generations programmes, and in doing so, bring together the members of the Rotary Family.
Some suggestions of what you can do during this month with Rotaract :
  • Visit your (or any) Rotaract club meeting
  • Invite a Rotaractor to be a Guest Speaker at one of your meetings for the month
  • Join forces to plan a community service project for the month or simply attend one of theirs that are already planned
  • Invite your Rotaract President to chair one of your club meetings
  • Support a Rotaract fundraiser
  • Speak with your Rotaract President and Secretary about attending PETS in October and see how you can encourage their attendance
  • Work with a Rotaract club outside of your immediate area to plan an International Service project
  • Plan a social with Rotaractors, or invite them to attend one of yours,  and make them feel welcomed to attend
  • Ensure that the New Generations Chair of the club is up to date on all activities of the Rotaract club(s), and keeps your club informed of such
Let us work together to celebrate all our New Generations for this month!
“Each generation goes further than the generation preceding it, because it stands on the shoulders of that generation” – Ronald Reagan
Allow us the opportunity to stand on your shoulders and be your Partners in Service!
